“Is it solar powered?”
No, The Honda Fit is not Solar Powered or Electric. The solar panels power a separate battery located in the back which I use to run all of my car camping devices. Some of these devices include a 12v Electric Cooler, a heated blanket, 12” fan, lights and plenty of camera gear.
“What’s your next adventure?”
I’m currently exploring the State Parks in Wisconsin.
This Fall I’m also signed up for some Auto Cross & Rally Cross events.
If possible I’d like to see Niagara Falls and try to revisit the Pagoda in Reading, PA. (It was closed when I went)
2023 I plan to travel down south and Visit “Tail Of The Dragon” in North Carolina. Hopefully I can do this during “Element of the Dragon” & “AWD Fest” both Honda Based events held in the area.
“Why A Fit?”
I love Honda’s & I love Camping. I didn’t want to scratch up a Civic Si on my adventures and Honda doesn’t make a cargo van in the States that I could convert for Van Life.
“Plans for future upgrades?”
I plan on upgrading my Solar SLA batteries to Lithium Ion.
I’d also like to modify the front end, add a winch and a lift kit.
Also debating if I should get a Honda Passport or Odyssey for my next Honda.
